I want to briefly describe my experience in night photography when I speak to a class and was surprised that the Night Photography Workshop that started it all was in September, 2017 – only a year and a half ago. Then the 2019 Lightroom catalog revealed that I’ve been out on 27 night shoots this year and have taken more than 1000 images with stars. As this year’s weather has not been conducive to photographing stars, I’m guessing that I’ve probably done quite a few.

27 NIghts! That’s great, Theresa! I need to get more motivated. I probably get out a dozen times myself. But I need to get some more Milky Way Points (for the street cred!) so I’m sure I’ll be out a lot this year. I’m heading to the Nightscaper Conference in a month and I’ll be out nearly a week just on that trip!

I wish I could go to that conference – maybe next year. BTW, went out again last night and maybe got the core. With the clous and the light pollution it’s a little hard to tell.
