Not long ago, Lume Cube announced the release of the Lume Cube 2.0 light. A Lume Cube is a small, daylight balanced, high Color Rendering Index (CRI) LED light designed for photo and video use and is a favorite of many nightscape photographers. The Lume Cube is little enough that some creators have mounted the lights on drones.

The Lume Cube 2.0 is a 1.6″ x 1.6″ light that can be mounted via a hot shoe and controlled via Bluetooth.

We received two of these lights a few weeks ago. Our Stanley Harper will review them for future publication here. Even though it is not Milky Way season, Stanley will still be able to get the lights out on location to see how they will benefit night photographers.
